SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.

Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

PS That’s just a mock cover!!

Finally – a cookbook!

This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.

Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.

Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….

I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!

Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.

So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂

If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.

I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.

So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).

They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!

Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!

– Nagi x

PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer

I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Dozer sniffing RecipeTin Eats cookbook mock up

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

I enjoy the variety of your recipes, have tried many of them with success. Need simple recipes for –
    Salmon gravlax
A thick plain brown lamb stew, no wine, nor too herby or spicy.

i can’t imagine my life without you now nagi and i only found you last year – where have you been all my life. any cookbook you put out will be awesome and guaranteed to sell (to me especially)! however, i beg you please to remember that lots of us grew up with meat, a lot of us love meat and please don’t let it all be about vegans and vegetarians. i adore reading side vegetable dishes and asian mushroom stir fries but i guess i need say nothing else.
you are SO talented and so real!
    i appreciate you very much!
    cheers to you,
    sharon

Hi Nagi, How awesome you are making a cookbook!! My husband and I absolutely LOVE your recipes! What I really like about them (besides the obvious) is how you write them; easy to follow, recommendations about which product/brand you like best and your side notes. So my recommendation would be to do exactly what you already do on your website, as you really do an amazing job. Oh and Dozer too of course!

Your way of cooking is great. Could you consider singles recipes or alternate amounts of ingredients to make maybe two of each thing. Or similar if at all possible. Thanks keep up the good work.

Congratulations Nagi that’s a real coup for you and so well deserved.

I generally do not enjoy cooking, so really appreciate your simple one pot recipes. Thank you for enabling me to cook meals that are tasty and easy.

I now cook your quiche Lorraine from memory so that can stay out 🤣.

WOW, Nagi, firstly Congratulations on the deal and secondly.. thankyou on behalf of your loyal followers.

I’m excited to purchase it already.

You, Dozer and your always inspiring recipes have been a hit in our Aussie home for ages. Feedback from our street parties are testament to how popular your recipes are.

I will be extremely pleased with whatever recipes are included, though would appreciate a savoury chapter at least the same size as the ‘sweets’ chapter.
PS. Is there an option to pre order?

I cannot wait to get my hands on a copy! I agree with most suggestions. Maybe a small section for measurements for standard and metric, another for substitutions, mostly what you do anyway. I would also like to see (gasp!) some heart healthy or diabetic recipes along with less sweet desserts. Your recipes are so good and I have family that are diabetic and heart problems but would love to fix things they would enjoy too. Anything that is authentic from any nationality, like Tiramisu, Coq au Vin, or Turkish Pide. I’m also with others that you do a set up like for the blog. Detailed information when needed and maybe pictures. That might get expensive and limit the amount of recipes that could be used. Maybe even leave blank pages at the end for people to add their own favorite recipe of yours if it didn’t make the cut! Whatever is chosen is going to be a cookbook that will be used and loved. Congratulations on this next step in your career. Oh and there has to be a way for Dozer to be all over that book, front to back and every page in between. It would not be complete without him! 🥰🐾

Please include details of the brands of ingredient you recommend – I always have found this very useful on your site. It’s not always necessary but given sauces etc can vary considerably between brands, it is really helpful!
