SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!

PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

Vanilla cake and cupcakes, and fried rice. BIIIG hits in my house.
Your brisket recipe! We just love it, so easy in the slow cooker
A section full of kid friendly, quick, easy weekday meals!
Well done Nagi! You put so much effort into each recipe that is so much appreciated.
Starting with the index allows the book to pretty much write itself. Says she who has done an index and a foreword for a cookbook for my children but recipes only partially collected. The theory was that as I used a favourite recipe listed in the index I would attach it. Trouble is I keep adding to the list.
It is a fabulous idea to ask your followers for ideas. A sure bestseller!! I know I will buy at least one. You are such an inspiration!!
You have already created such foolproof recipes it is hard to think of more. Good to have some of the reader faves in though so they are handy in 1 spot.
Here is my list for now: section on tips eg clarified butter, apple pie, stuffed whole Turkey in the oven with bread/rice stuffing options and unstuffed whole oven baked Turkey option, vanilla slice, breads with and without yeast stir in a bowl eg Arabic bread, low fat dips, home plain hot chips oven or fried. Indication if gluten free and if can freeze on each recipe.
Congratulations! I love recipes that are easy. Anything with chicken, turkey or fish would be great. Oh, and my husband and I really like sauces but we try to eat healthy. Can’t wait to see your cookbook!
Sticky date cake please please please 🤗 I love your recipes, the detail is epic so I would love a sticky date cake !!! Thank you 🙏🏼
Your recipes I always come back to are pizza dough and slow cooker pulled meats.
Include the substitutions and hints/tips and I love when there are suggestions on what to pair a recipe with for main/sides/feasts.
Your Laksa definitely! My son and I exchange your recipes from Melbourne to Canberra regularly. It’s been a lockdown thing. Thanks Nagi
Please keep the format the same! Intro, recipe, method and notes. It makes navigating the recipes so easy. And it’s so good to have the recipe itself free of wordy clutter – your writing style is perfectly on point. I think what’s so good is that we all feel like you’re our mate!
I agree…it feels like family
I love the idea of a cookbook and I look forward to getting a copy of it. I would love to see a Lemon Meringue Pie recipe.
Can’t wait!!
Would love to see your fraisier and meringue lemon tart!
Great news for you and I wish you well. Nagi all of your recipes I cook are portions for 4 or more so I have frozen when able too 2 portions for a later night. A section dedicated to couples portions may be of interest to all of us couples that have done the family recipes and due to their children flying the coop only need 2 portions. I’m so excited for you.
Your recipes are literally the reason I started cooking! My current (and I think forever) favorite recipe is the salmon with herb & garlic cream sauce. I’m so ready to buy your cookbook!
Hi Naghi. Love all your recipes. Foolproof! And so tasty and full of flavour. I have a cattle dog Jessie and would love to make some healthy biscuits/treats for her. Any chance of dedicating a recipe for our fur babies. So love your dozer. X
Mont Blanc tart
Beef cheeks three ways. My introduction to RTE, Nagi and dear Dozer. Congratulations on the book deal, will buy the minute it’s available. Hoping your Recipe Tin Meals is working out well. Be careful you don’t spread yourself too much. Burnout is real.
