SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.

Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

PS That’s just a mock cover!!

Finally – a cookbook!

This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.

Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.

Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….

I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!

Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.

So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂

If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.

I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.

So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).

They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!

Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!

– Nagi x

PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer

I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Dozer sniffing RecipeTin Eats cookbook mock up

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

We use your recipes every day (today was cow boy salad and tomorrow is your new chicken recipe)!
I love stew type dishes as makes meat super tender but my husband isn’t keen on tomato based ones so a non tomato base beef stew would be amazing as a winter warmer
2: Some more salmon marinade recipes please!
    Thanks x

This is so exciting! I would like some more curry recipes – love the aubergine one and the lamb Rogan Josh. Also maybe a katsu?? Hope we can get the book in the UK!

Yay, great news – congrats. Will it have a dessert section? If so, I’d like to see the Nutella brownie recipe in there 💕

Nagi I think the only way to go will be an entire cookbook devoted to ground beef recipes – give the people what they want! 😉

Obviously kidding – Id love to see some of your most popular ones from the website in there, and some other ideas –

    Devilled sausages
    Creamy chicken pesto pasta
    Chicken cacciatore

These are just things I enjoy cooking that I would love to have a “Nagi” version of 😊

Oh and a special request! I love to cook in bulk and nearly almost double your recipes. It would be super helpful to have a little note on adjustments to be made of doubling (e.g sometimes I worry the cook time needs to change) as I’m sure I’m not the only one! 😊

    Hi Nagi,

    Such exciting news!!! Congratulations 🥳

Definitely really appreciate the substitution info you have on the website and would love it if that could be in the book with the nutritional info!

You have too many amazing recipes already too fit in one book, never mind new ones! I think it would be great if this was a ‘beginners’ book – I know so many people who need that; with a wide variety of quick and easy meals, perhaps with a limited pantry, but then you had a whole collection (maybe by season, cuisine or similar?)

Absolutely need a Life of Dozer collage!

Can’t wait, sign me up to the preorder!

Thankyou for getting ideas for your new cook boo Nagi. I am on a low carb diet due to health issues, would love you to make dishes with low carb and high fat, nut flours instead of gluten slurs please?
    Thank you again.
    Kind regards

I would love a prawn noodle soup recipe – using a Chinese stock like you get in a Chinese restaurant. Your recipes really are my favourite – congratulations- can’t wait for your book.

    Vegetarian meals
    Seafood dishes.
Slow cooking is wonderful more please.
    Love your fritters
Dishes from other cultures is always great as they use lots of herbs and spices. These dishes always provide a wonderful learning experience and really cherish these.
    Anyway enough from me.

I’m not sure where I could start with favourites. We cook sooooo much of your food and especially love the Asian dishes. Ones we can’t live without would be:
    *Asian Steak
    *Chicken Karaage
    *Vietnamese Coconut Caramel Chicken
    *Coleslaw (that dressing!!!)
    *Gozleme
    *General Tso’s Chicken
    *Sticky Pantry Chicken
    *Pork Roast with Crispy Crackling

Just not enough time or space to list them all!

This is very exciting. I have a lever arch file with your recipes I print out because I like a physical recipe. I really like how you “teach” techniques in each recipe as well. I have learnt many things that way. And the systematic layout of your recipes. So, stick to the formula. My 2 girls and I, video call and cook your recipes together. Thank you – it made the distance between us shorter.
