SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!
– Nagi x
PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

I love your pork and fennel sausage rolls. If you could make a list of basic ingredients, then this refers you to recipes included in the book. Of course always have photos and make the book with spiral binding, so the book can be left open, and maybe have a splash cover attached to cover to drape over open pages.
SOLD!!! I will definitely be buying this, actually copies for all of the family. You are the go-to in our family. There is not one recipe of yours that I have cooked that anyone in this family of 4 has disliked. It’s a wonder your ears don’t burn most nights when I say to the kids, ‘it’s one of Nagi’s recipes’. Our faves and that I am always looking up online are butter chicken (#1 here) and flatbreads, honey mustard chicken, chicken enchiladas, lo mein noodles (OMG AMAZING). Anyway the must out of all of those to include in the cookbook is the butter chicken and flatbreads! Can’t wait Nagi, and congrats!
Please keep in all of the detailed notes you give for each of your website recipes, it’s my fav thing about your recipes. Also some good soups and small serve desserts would be great.
You will have numbers of the top all-time most popular recipes so they should be the engine room of choices and then build around that.
Every one of your recipes is a stunner so it will be a MUST HAVE BOOK.

I would love the Massam curry and naan bread receipes to be included. I love your recipes they are easy to follow, each one I have tried has been delicious, will definitely buy the book.
Please include recipes for chicken breast. Not a fan of any other part of the chicken. Will this cookbook be available in the U.S. Any vegetable recipes too. I love your ideas and also a fan of Dozers.
The recipes, I have no idea, I’ve already listed them on the recipe wish list page,
HOWEVER, what makes me reach for your website over my cook books is:
– substitution info/ideas
– pics at critical phases to “see” what it should look like at that point
– suggestions for matching sides or ways to make it a banquet
– if a recipe can be made ahead or frozen, how and when it’s best to do that
– highlighting when a slow cooker/pressure cooker can be used
-nutrition information
– Dozer 😂
Basically just your approach to the website in a book!

Hi, I love all your recipes. I feel you are incredible enough to do 2 cook books.
5pm cook book – one pot or 30 minute dishes for a family of 4
Upmarket dinner meals.
You are amazing . I cook your meals daily. Would so love your recipes in a book and feel so excited I can purchase for gifts.
Love your recipes, Nagi! Would be cool if you make a list of easy marinades for the beef, pork, chicken which can be all cooked in the same way after getting marinaded. But with a different taste)) so we can quickly marinade in the morning or the night before and then get a beautiful 20 min dish the next day 🙂
Hi Nagi,
Like everyone else I look forward to supporting you by purchasing your cookbook. I particularly enjoy the numerous stir fries you have previously published and especially the sauces. I am also a big fan of the savoury baking recipes. Good luck with this huge project.
How wonderful Nagi! ☺️ I love your recipes – all of them but if you could include a section with the all time reader favorites / most popular from your recipes so far, that would be wonderful- a chapter with them all together .
Thanks!
Congratulations Nagi,…brilliant, how exciting!! Oh no! just when I convinced myself I do not need another recipe book….hmmm but of course I do…Yours!! Looking forward to it.
Like everyone else I love your recipes, particularly the detail & care you go to ensure we are successful in cooking those same dishes. I can’t think of anything I haven’t enjoyed, Do love all of your sauces and marinades – use them frequently.
