SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!
– Nagi x
PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

Congratulations!
I particularly adore your Thai dishes like Asian Chicken & Mushroom Ramen, 2 dishes I do regularly & everyone adores! Your salads are divine, love interesting & easy veggie dishes with ingredients in the larder ready to go, as well as many other recipes; though to choose hey….
Just give us more of what you already give us. Your receipts rock
All your Asian and Chinese recipes are amazing please put them in the book. Your going to need 2 books or3 and I’ll buy them all
Risotto recipes, fish recipes.Thanks.
Definitely freezable meals, meals with lots of veggies, and things that focus on using produce that is in season
We love all your recipes, but I’d love a section on bbq, and one on meals to gift/share/potluck, Lots of vegetarian options would also be great! And some Korean 😀
So many wonderful recipes but one of my favorites is
Chicken Souvlaki with Tzatziki!!!
Nagi every week I’m cooking up a storm with your recipes. I recommend all my friends to jump on board & try some recipes for themselves.
Also my son & daughter are used to me making these yummy meals, they now are both following in my foot steps to impress their friends. It’s always a treat to see Dozer in all his antics & chief taste tester. I will certainly be buying your book & giving them as gifts 😘
Nagi, congrats on the book deal. Please include the brisket recipe, the carrot cake, the easy bread recipe and the crispy chicken wings! All delicious and most importantly, foolproof!
Mate, haven’t ever come across a bad recipe of yours! Can’t wait to cook my way through a cookbook of yours!
Definitely include your French recipes! The lemon tart one was amazing.
Nagi, I am so happy to read this ! A whole chapter on Asian Fakeaways would be welcome! Thank you so much for your awesome recipes which make me look like a much better cook than I actually am!
I am horrified when I see/hear comments from people on government support saying they have to eat pet food or just bread and butter. How about a budget section to encompass affordable, nourishing and tasty meals for our most vulnerable people. Those people may not be purchasing your cookbook, Nagi, but people who cook for those people will I assure you. By the way, for the past three years I have been a major fan of yours. At 75, I cook for those who need a helping hand.
Love the idea of budget meals that can be used to feed the vulnerable
I like you, hope you got some help and I know a wet dog when I see one. All SMILES
D
Congratulations on the book deal! Can I request ‘Garlic bread leftover turkey pie’? This has made me always have a supply of Bread cubes in my freezer 🧡 LOVE IT!
Hi Nagi, can’t wait for your book – please, please, please can we have a fantastic chicken saagwala to go with your superb lamb rogan josh and eggplant curry?
I love all your recipes and always really good and my husband and parents love it. What about some family/toddler friendly recipes? I’m also always looking for one pot meals without rice and I love slow cooked meals too.
Love so many of your recipes that I know I’ll be happy with whatever contents are in the book. However, I always find a “by ingredients” index really useful. For those times when you have 3 sad zucchinis, (but also have a well-stocked pantry!)
Would your Mum be happy to include some of her Japanese recipes from her site? Admire both of you so much and love teaching my niece to cook with your recipes, and Recipe Tin Eats Japan 🤗
Yay! I come to your website weekly for recipes, one of our favourites is your recipe for minestrone soup, would love to see that in your book.
I love lots of your recipes because you use ingredients I have in my pantry and everything is tasty. I have just made your quiche recipe and it was yummy! Whatever is in your new cookbook will be great! Ps I love seeing Dozer too!
I would like you to include, vietnamese chilli chicken, pasta salad, slow cooked beef ribs, satay chicken skewers. Everything I cook following your recipes is amazing x
Hi, if I am looking for a particular recipe ,I always check tin eats first. I can usually find what I want. The recipes are so easy and uncomplicated. Some of my favourites or useful ones are…
Cooking plain rice and jasmine rice. Your recipe gives me perfect rice
Pork tenderloin with creamy mustard sauce… ..had something like this for a hotel meal. Looked it up on the internet ,thus discovering your website.
Salmon with herb and garlic cream sauce. ….easy to make. A nice change for fish recipes.
