SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.

Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

PS That’s just a mock cover!!

Finally – a cookbook!

This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.

Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.

Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….

I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!

Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.

So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂

If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.

I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.

So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).

They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!

Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!

– Nagi x

PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer

I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Dozer sniffing RecipeTin Eats cookbook mock up

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

I love all your notes and substitutions. I’d like to see some healthy weekday meals. We usually select your more complicated recipes as something fun to do on the weekend (especially with lockdown) but would like to expand my go to easy meals that are also not terrible for me

Hi Nagi, firstly, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your hard work creating and testing all of these amazing recipes for the world that are authentic, work first time, are full of useful hints, tips, substitution advice, and taste oh so very delicious! Because of your artisan bread, I’ve been finally been successful in baking fresh bread at home for the first time in my life! I’m so excited that you’re making a cookbook! I will definitely be buying copies for all of my friends in the UK, having already shared your website with them. I’m lactose intolerant, have IBS and I’m allergic to shellfish, and my husband stuffers from gastric reflux, and is allergic to nuts, so I’m sure you can understand just how difficult it can be to make food we can both eat without feeling poorly! I’ve got quite good at substituting ingredients and adapting your recipes, but low fodmap soups using no onion and garlic that taste good are proving to be a huge challenge, and I really do miss sauces like Peri Peri!

I just love salmon, baked or pan-fried. I have some favourites but I am sure you have some hidden exotic flavours to make a dinner party/family dinner special. Use your recipes all the time including tonight, “Shepherds pie” after our roast lamb last night.

Congrats Nagi. I’ll buy it. What I love the most about your site is the plethora of substitutions, because as someone with a restricted diet (no onion no garlic) and a fridge to clean that is always a plus. So please keep them!

Hi Nagi, I discovered your site in Victoria’s lockdown last year what a blessing for my family 😂! I have so many fav’s but my top go to recipes on the go that always impress everyone I cook for are: Pastitsio, One pot baked Greek Chicken Orzo, Oven baked chicken breast ( the rub is 👌🏻) , creamy chicken in white wine sauce with bacon, & Garlic butter Rice with Kale the easiest side dish! Congratulations talented lady I look forward to seeing your face on our shelves shortly . I would buy your cookbook regardless as I love your recipes, tips & substitution list are so helpful.

Hi Nagi thank you! I just love your recipes but I must ask to please share easy/tasty and spicy recipes using things like chickpeas/all pulses and seafood – I’m trying to cut down on meat and have officially gone off chicken so sometimes I just run out of ideas.
I’m on my own but cook every night as I enjoy it and your recipes inspire me@ Big hug to Dozer!!

I would love a section on salads, your salads are my favourite part of your website and have taught me some great foundation.

Is there a way you could frame it as base salad ingredients recipes then instructions on how to mix and match these? For example, have the recipes for your marinated chickpeas, candied walnuts, flavoured lentils, etc. Then have instructions on what to serve together or how to pick flavours that will go?
