More to come! Lots, lots, lots more…. – Nagi x

Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.
My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?
It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.
And mostly, I can.
I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂
But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!

And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below!
Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:
-
Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
-
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?

I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.

LIFE OF DOZER
Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.

Hi Nagi,
I am super excited that you asked, and I was kinda going into a panic mode, because I don’t know where to start.. LOL
Would you pretty please share recipes for cooking in pressure cooker and slow cooker? Something really tasty, not boring like those recipes on slow cooker/pressure cooker cookbook?
I went to an Indian restaurant (a local favorite) on our trip to London recently, and I had this Chicken Berry Britannia biryani.. ohh so good!! Would you share a good good biryani recipe that’s easy to make at home?
Thank you so much Nagi and thank you for asking 😀
Hi Nagi!
Love your recipes! Would so appreciate…
1. Venison recipes please! Specifically, a few awesome punchy sauces to pair with steaks! Also some mince recipes would be great!
2. More brothy style soups please.
3. Fresh fish recipes using snapper, or similar.
4. Ooo and maybe a spicy kimchi?
Thank you so much! 🙂
Hi Nagi!
I’m a giant fan of yours and all the recipes I make always turn out amazing because of how much care and thought you put into them!!
Recently we were stopped at a small highway qld bakery and had the most amazing peppersteak pie (with the best pepper kick!) but there aren’t many recipes for peppersteak on the net! Is it an aussie flavour?
I would appreciate it if you could experiment and find the best peppersteak pie filling recipe for me!
A childhood favourite of mine when we lived in Malaysia. Char kway teow. Would love a doable recipe for this. It has me salivating just thinking about it.
Thanks for all your great recipes, cookedvon a regular basis.
Complete agree with your views on Banana 🍌 can’t stand banana things.
Anywho, recipe wise I’d love to see some:
5 spice inspired recipes and marinades (I love 5 spice and one of my local restaurants does a delish 5 spice marinated chicken/pork in a hoisin and 5 spice sauce, I live it and have never been able to recreate it, perhaps you might be able? ;)) ,
Hot and spicy recipes with chilli,
Something with venison steaks,
Crispy chilli beef/chicken
One pot recipes,
Basic Sticky rice recipe,
Turkey/chicken mince recipes,
Sweet recipes – like baked and fried doughnut rings (with variation) , caramel goodies, brownie/blondie variations, little mini muffins, tray bakes, all things chocolate etc.
I love this blog, from your gyōzas, to your stir fries, crispy smashed potatoes, steaks, carnot as, caramel brownies, shortbread, and churros, everything is AMAZING. Trying to suggest recipes is tough.
Thanks for all the great recipes.
Nagi, I am a scammer. I would like your top ten ‘cheats’.
What are the most impressive but dead easy things you whip up for unexpected (or just easy) entertaining?
Plus I second everything already mentioned here (especially pho!)
Vietnamese Pho please!!! And maybe something like a Sri Lankan curry. You are going to be inundated with requests and then you’ll be like – that’s why I don’t ask the people!! 😂
Please share flavoursome Persian dishes, namely koobideh, chelo kabab barg, rice and Persian flat breads with gorgeous mezzo of hummus, aubergines and pomegranate, Delicious 😋
I’m not a lover of saffron, don’t like to feel as if I’m eating perfume, but for some reason when I eat these dishes in Persian restaurants, I cannot even tell that there is saffron in them, which is great. If no one has ever had Iranian food, please try, it is a delight.
+1 for Italian biscotti with various flavours. Some flavour combinations I’ve been thinking about are almond/orange, pistachio/hazlenut/dark chocolate chips, or hazlenut/nutella.
I would love some fruit pie recipes, especially now that it is summer in Canada.
I also have a new baby and would love to read your thoughts on freezing summer fruits for making baby food or preserving for winter. I was hoping to freeze some fresh local fruits so that I can make nice purees when my daughter is old enough to try solids in the winter, but I want to understand which fruits freeze well and how to do it in a way that preserves nutrition and flavour. (By the way, we stocked our freezer with your burrito recipe and dumpling recipe before baby so we wouldn’t have to worry about cooking after. I was assembling dumplings the same day I went into labour. Lol It worked out great to have some easy meals!!)
Hi Nagi I love everything you post and truthfully I love reading about Dozer..the beauty salon shot is a keeper..if Luca was in the salon he probably would be trying to find something to eat😂🐕
Hey thanks Nagi for putting this call out. Always love your recipes.
Would love your take/recipe for Vietnamese Pho. I love eating it at a local restaurant so would enjoy to be able to make it at home.
Also your take on a good old fashioned comfort pudding – rice pudding. My mother often had one baking in the oven, but I think she used to cook it for hours. And I don’t have that time with running my own business.
Lamb Shanks please. Thanks
Hi Nagi,
I love trying out your recipes and my family always appreciates it when I do.
Could you include a seafood chowder please? With cold weather here in Melbourne, we would really appreciate it.
Thanks.
Hi Nagi! Stuffed Capsicum would be amazing 🙂
Hi, Nagi! Your recipes are great, and you give us a wide selection! I was wondering if you could find a great recipe for bobotie? I had tried it at a South African restaurant and just fell in love with it! I’m sure you’ll have THE BEST recipe for it! Thank you so much!!!
Eggplant Parmigiana pleease…🍆🍆🍆
Hi Nagi, a way to make creamed corn would be amazing! I live on a Scottish island with only one shop and they don’t sell creamed corn! Then I could make crustless quiche and egg drop soup all the time without it being a “special” meal if I shop on the mainland!
Also a cronut!
Your recipes are amazing, I did the pulled pork again the other day, it was soooo good!
Hi Nagi, I love your recipes. I would love Lemon Tart and Vietnamese Pho Soup. Thank you
Hello Nagi,
I can hardly find an applesauce bread recipe, no less an amazing one. I would really appreciate your help with this. You will like it. 😋
Enjoying the way you send recipes now, i like the surprise. Not too bothered about dessert recipes as we tend not to have desserts or only very occasionally. So please keep sending your wonderful savoury recipes.
