More to come! Lots, lots, lots more…. – Nagi x

Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.
My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?
It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.
And mostly, I can.
I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂
But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!

And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below!
Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:
-
Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
-
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?

I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.

LIFE OF DOZER
Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.

How about STEAMED SPARE RIBS IN BLACK BEAN SAUCE?! Yum!! A favorite either as a dim sum item or an entree!
G’day Nagi,
My request is for Egg Fu Young… and I also love that you include the Nutrition ratings. Keep up the good work, look forward to reading your news letter.
I have a pressure cooker which barely sees the light of day! I would love to use it more for what would normally be very slow cooked joints of meat. I am a Heston fan and regularly roast joints at low temperatures for 8-9 hrs producing beautifully soft outcomes but on some occasions spped would be useful.
Anything spicy/BBQ esque would be a bonus.
Love your work…….
Thai Green Curry!
Hello:
As someone recently diagnosed with GERD (Gastroesophogeal Reflux Disease) I can no longer have foods that are acidic, spicy, Caffeinated, or anything thing with cooked tomatoes or onion or garlic (I know, might as well just curl up and die, right?). So essentially there goes anything ethnic (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Italian, Mexican, Indian, etc…)
There is a HUGE need for healthy and tasty foods that the many of us who suffer with this can eat.
So…it would be great if you could convert any of your wonderful recipes into GERD-friendly ones. It’s probably asking the impossible but…??
There are drugs for GERD! I have it and take Nexium and Domperidone with Gaviscon tablets as a backup when necessary. I have not cut any of those foods out of my diet, I could not live without garlic.
Minimal ingredients, minimal time, or freezer friendly/completely make ahead meals and snacks!
Could you try a Lamb Curry, something like a bhuna or Madras? I love your Currys but can only find chicken tikka, coconut and Butter chicken. Nobody else’s recipes can compare! I love your Chinese recipes too, I think I’ve tried them all. Could you do a crispy shredded beef? (I think someone may have requested this too) 😊
Koshari! (Kushari) There is one place in the Phoenix metro area that I have found that makes this. But, they won’t give me their recipe 🙁
No requests, but I hear you about bananas. They don’t agree with me – hard to digest – and therefore unpleasant. I’m happy that you don’t post a lot of dessert recipes.
Hi Nagi, how about sea food, like soup or cream, I¨m from COLOMBIA, South America, here we say “CAZUELA DE MARISCOS” any kind of sea food, thanks
I would love to see more interesting recipes using chicken breasts. My family don’t like ‘grey/pink/fatty’ chicken and generally will only eat Breast. I try to limit red meet to once a week and fish twice a week, so more, more and more different chicken (breast) recipes would be great.
Thanks for your fantastic blog.
Can you please post some recipes for wet dishes that don’t have tomato in them? I love italian food, slow cooker recipes for winter, ragu etc but sooooo many of them contain tomato and I am allergic to them. I make a rich meat sauce (bolognese substitute) with red wine and beef stock but I am after other sauces/international cuisine wet dishes that don’t have tomatoes. It is very hard to find winter dishes that I can have. Many thanks.
I hear you Ann! Have you seen my stews and cottage and sherpard’s pies? They don’t have much tomato in them, you can skip the tomato paste 🙂
Very interested in a recipe for a Poppy Seed Cake, I remember it had crushed poppy seeds creamed, or crushed with sugar and maybe other ingredients, maybe spice or jam ? then this paste is spread on a soft cake and rolled up, or it could be spread between layers of cake.
have a very fond memory of this particular cake ,I would love to try and bake this one, I know it’s a big ask.
Thank you for your recipes, look forward to the new ones , I love the extra information , you post with any recipe, very helpful.
I really like nearly all the recipes you have published, I like the way you cook.
Char kway teow and some more soups please. Thanks for asking!!!!
I am so very glad to have found your website! Over the past few months I have been blessed with two new great-grandchildren. I try to cook a meal for each of the mothers that will last for two days or half can be frozen. Your recipes have been a great help, and I love Dozer!!
Any slow cooker recipes would be appreciated by me as I can cook two meals at the same time. (I was given a second cooker by my granddaughter.)
Hi Nagi- I would like to see: 1) crock pot meals ; 2) soups 3) lo-cal deserts
How about a recipe with portobello mushrooms? What toppings can i stuff it with?
Hi,
How about fish, I do love them.
thanks
Dalva from Brazil
