I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.

My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?

It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.

And mostly, I can.

I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂

But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!

And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you?? 

DUH!

And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:

Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:

  1. Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!

  2. No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?

I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.

    Dearest Nagi,

    Many years ago I used to frequent a Sichuan / Szechwan / Szechuan (?) restaurant, and part of their ‘feast’ was a scrumptious dish called Bang Bang Chicken. It had a very light/delicate cucumber ‘pickle’ base, with poached chicken breast slices atop, and then some kind of very lightly spiced sesame sauce drizzled over the chicken, with peanut niblets over the whole thing.

    Sadly the restaurant closed down before I had a chance to chat with the chef 🙁 I’ve hunted many foodie pages looking for a recipe that felt close to the one I’m seeking – alas, no joy….

    BEEF BRACIOLE – Pasta – I’ve kept thinking for years now, what’s that dish my nonna made when I was in Italy, that was the best red sauce pasta I’ve ever had in my life, I know traditional it’s a small portion with pasta, then eat the broccoli meat, but boy oh boy what a killer sauce.

    Would love your rum balls recipe. I’ve been making mums rum balls for years and it’s one of 2 things she can cook. But there’s so many variations and they all claim to be the best.

      I would absolutely love it if you would share a cherry ripe slice recipe. I’ve been making the caramel slice for work and now people are putting in requests like I actually know what I’m doing 😂😂

    Would you be able to post a Hannukah Donut recipe in time for the Holiday? Every single recipe that I’ve tried from your website was polished off to raving reviews (!!) and so your recipe is the only one I’d trust! I would really appreciate it! (p.s. I already preordered your cookbook!)

    My local Italian do a vodka, cream pasta sauce and it is INCREDIBLE.
    I have the seafood version of it and I’d love to try it at home!

    Nagi I am begging you as a suggestion PLEASE try the Al Aseel Lemon Garlic Chicken and then PLEASE recreate it and share. This is my favourite dish in the whole world, I have literal nightmares about my local Al Aseel closing down and not being able to get it ever again. Kind Regards! Chelsea
