Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.
My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?
It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.
And mostly, I can.
I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂
But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!

And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below!
Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:
-
Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
-
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?
{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}
I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.

LIFE OF DOZER
Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.

Baked Orange Chicken Please
I love a great moist banana bread that holds together well.
Hi Nagi, Five Guys fries?! They’re the best out there!😍 Or would your have any kind of homemade fries recipe pls!?😁

Hi, I’d love to see some fresh crab recipes!
Hi Nagi! Hope you and Dozer are well!!
I just have a couple of recipes requests from two local restaurants. One from Hong Kong Chinese in Newport, the braised Sichuan chicken fillets and the Hong Kong Special chicken Hot Pot. And the other from Umami, again in Newport, the chicken katsu donburi.
Thank you so much!!
Hi Georgie, Sounds delicious. Try this recipe fr Katsu-don 🙂 https://japan.recipetineats.com/katsu-don-pork-cutlet-and-egg-on-rice/ N x

Hi Tina, yes! I must revisit this recipe! N x
Would love a jungle curry recipe please!! Pretty please??
Your food is always AMAZING! And the fact that you video it all, I’m never wondering if what I’m cooking is right!
hi Nagi, do you make banana bread at all? I can never get it just right
No banana anything, see above, Nagi will do pretty much anything but banana!
Hi Nagi, I’d love a recipe for egg drop soup! All your recipes come out great and are always so detailed and easy-to-follow 😊
Hi Lisa, one to add to the list – try this one in the meantime 🙂 https://wellness-better.today/chinese-chicken-corn-soup/%3C/a%3E N x
We are going to have a Potsticker Party! We will make different kinds and would like recipes for A vegetable and a shrimp filling. Love dipping sauces too.
Yes! One to add to my list Nancy! N x
My husband loves General Tso’s chicken and I don’t see it on your site. Would love to see it here. Thanks so much.
That’s right at the top of my list, I’ve been meaning to share it for ages! Overloaded on chicken currently, will share it in a few weeks 🙂 N x
I’ve never really been a ‘foodie’, but over the lockdown, I’ve really taken to being in the kitchen; and since I discovered your website, I’m constantly cooking (so many amazing recipes!! Thank you!!) – my husband is confused!! Anyway, I really want to try my hand at an orange chiffon cake. A work colleague brought one in to the office once (in the good ol’ days when we still went out of the house), and it was to die for.
Yum, sounds amazing Kristina! N x
I would love you to do salt & chilli chips, we love them with pretty much any Asian meal 😍, the recipe I have a is good but I just know you will be able to Nagi’fi them and take them from good to sensational!!! Also salt & chilli chicken 😋 love it with golden curry sauce on the side!
Salt and chilli chips?? As in – potato chips?? I don’t think I’ve ever seen that at an Asian restaurant!! does it look like fries??
Yes! Hot chips I should have said, (I’m Scottish but live in Australia) most if not all Chinese restaurants at home have them – they are sooooo so good!! In a wok, oil, cook green capsicum, red chillies, onion for a few minutes, add a little rice wine vinegar (although I have started using Chinese cooking wine since discovering your site that makes them ever better!) add the cooked fries (homemade), then 2tsp (to taste) of salt and chilli seasoning (salt, cumin, chilli flakes, Chinese 5 spice, white pepper, black pepper) – awesome accompaniment 😋
Hi Nagi, I am in Melbourne and am following the life of Dozer. Trying out all your great recipes is keeping me sane. Thank You!
Stay safe Jen!! N x
Hi Nagi,
I would really love to see a sweet and sour pork recipe (crispy fried pork) with a well balanced sauce, not the red sickly sweet sauce some of the other receptors ‘think’ people like.
Many thanks,
Chantal
Yes! I must revisit this recipe! In the meantime have you tried my sweet and sour chicken? N x
Cannot find the perfect recipe online but know you could create one!
South African Bobotie
I’m not even South African but the combo of flavours intrigues me!
Yum! One to add to the list Amy! N x
I second an onion ring recipe! We prefer battered, our restaurant favourite is a purple onion with fresh herbs in the batter
It’s climbing up my list of requests!!! 🙂 N x
I’d like you to come up with THE BEST German Rouladen recipe please.
Yum! I love this idea! N x
I 2nd the rouladen request!!
Would love to see onion ring recipe.
Thanks Nagi x
Hi Carys, do you prefer the crumbed or battered version? N x
Battered Id say.
🙂
I’d love a crumb version, life hasn’t been the same since you couldn’t get a decent onion ring at HJ’s (please don’t judge 🤣)
