Request a recipe!

I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.

My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?

It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.

And mostly, I can.

I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂

But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!

Recent Reader Favourite Recipes - Tikka Masala, Pastrami, Pad Thai

And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??

DUH!

And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:

WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?

Drop your requests in the comments section below!

Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:

  1. Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!

  2. No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?

{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}

I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.

    Hi Nagi,

Could you share a few simple meatless hot lunch ideas. I was looking on your page and found a few but I think they are mostly sides or soups. Thank you!

Nagi, Love your recipes. I have made pepper steak over wide noodles with cheese for years but lately meat is coming out tough so I stopped making it . I wondered if you had a good way to make it . I was thinking maybe there is even a recipe to make it in crock pot for the meat, onions, peppers and tomatoes.

Not necessarily a recipe, but our lives are insanely busy. I like to batch cook for the freezer, so that on those exhausted days when take out seems the only option, I would love to turn to a delicious freezer meal- because not all the one I’ve found on Pinterest are up to your standard!

Hi Karen! I’ll do a round up of the very best freezer friendly meals I have on my site 🙂 Also, check out today’s recipe – quesadillas with multiple filling options. PERFECT for freezing – and you can even pop them in the oven to crisp up instead of pan frying! N x

    Hi Nagi,
My girlfriend once made me (don’t laugh) sweet potato and peanut butter soup. It was so very yummy. Apart from those two ingredients, I have no idea what else was in it, sorry.
Thanks for all your wonderful recipes, I’m learning so much from you and the recipe notes are a fantastic idea.
    Cheers,
    Susan
ps: Nearly forgot, your oven baked salmon patties were so easy and tasted great. Had leftovers cold as sandwiches the next day.

General Tso’s Chicken! I can get the chicken fried correctly, but I can never find a sauce that tastes anything like what I can get at takeout. I feel like I’ve tried every sauce out there and nothing’s right.

    Hi Nagi

In the 1970’s my sister used to make a dinner party favourite. I don’t know what it was called, and she is no longer with us for me to ask. But it was tender chunks of beef, and the sauce was a reddish brown. It tasted like it had paprika and tomato paste. The only thing I can come up with is a type of Hungarian Paprika Beef stew.
We used to have it with rice. No other vegies with it, just the beef with the sauce.
It was amazing, and I wish I could replicate it. If you could help that would be great

    Hi Nagi!
What a timely post… I was just thinking last week, I wish I could ask Nagi about certain recipes… and here is your invite! :)).
So… since it’s winter time, I’d like to see braised beef brisket or braised pork shoulder recipe… similar to the myriad of recipes you have for lamb shoulder/leg :). I have tried your BBQ beef brisket recipe before which is excellent, but hoping to find a healthier recipe (not using as much sugar).
Thanks Nagi! Good to see Dozer getting about 🙂 xx
